Grow up: Become mature

Everyone eventually grows up. Their emotions, their feelings, their aspirations, their necessities, as well as their priorities change. They may stop loving you. They may even stop caring for you. That is the law of nature. Doesn't mother nature provide evidence of so many animals abandoning their young ones after a stage? Some animals even go a step further and make them part of their diet.

But we humans are unique. We remember associations and have intense feelings about things even after we grow up. We like as well as dislike people and things for reasons unknown and explainable. The human mind prides itself of unraveling the mysteries of universe. But are we really such geniuses. For one our ability to perceive things may not be as reasonable as we believe.

Only the insipid human brain can give such dimensions to  life, love and existence. We are ready to sacrifice ourselves on some occasions and in-hesitant to take life on some. We explain our beliefs and actions to ourselves in myriad ways.

To sum up, you may never really grow up. You may never really become mature. The child inside you is always there. You just have to adopt better measures to tame and conceal that kid. Some might want to kill the child inside you. But never give up. Put in your efforts and do not give up so easily upon yourself and your dreams. A toast to the immature, naive, imbecile kid in you who believes in all the stupid fairy tales.
